BIOGRAPHY
Nathanael Andrews has experience with the technology commercialization process at Purdue University through his work as an intern in the Office of Technology Commercialization at Purdue. He applies his skills to the process of patent prosecution and strives to encourage technological innovation and improvement.
Nathanael has been active learning and conducting research in diverse fields. He has experience with research in areas such as cohesion within particulate matter, neuroplasticity and recovery from neural trauma, robot assisted surgery, and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). Particularly, Nathanael developed an interest in MEMS during graduate school at Purdue University and conducted investigations into thermal noise, computer modeling, and computer design. He is especially interested in applications of MEMS on the interface with biology, in the broadening world of medical technologies, and with the related field of Lab-on-a-Chip analysis. Nathanael also has served as a teaching assistant in various areas, including teaching numerous sections of an ASIC design laboratory at Purdue University during the 2012-2013 school years. During this time he received the Magoon Award for Excellence in Teaching at Purdue University.
EDUCATION
Nathanael obtained a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in 2013. He also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2011.
MEMBERSHIPS
Nathanael is a lifetime member of the engineering honors society Tau Beta Pi (TBP), as well as the electrical and computer engineering honors society Eta Kappa Nu (HKN).
Nathanael is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
