BIOGRAPHY
Vijay Desai focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patents. Prior to joining Slater & Matsil, Vijay gained extensive experience in all stages of patent and commercial litigation at Sidley Austin and Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors. In particular, Vijay gained patent litigation experience in a variety of technologies, including fiber optic communications, wireless telecommunications, radar detection devices, engine gaskets, and infrared cameras.
EDUCATION
Vijay graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, cum laude, from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004, where he served as Vice President of Tau Beta Pi engineering honors fraternity. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law in 2009, where he served as Development Editor of the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal and Vice President of the Asian Law Students Association.

Vijay is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association of Young Lawyers.
