BIOGRAPHY
Robert Graham is an attorney providing his clients with all forms of Intellectual Property representation. Robert assists his clients in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the software, semiconductor, electrical circuit, telecommunications, financial and business method fields. Some of Robert's patent application project have included semiconductor and solar devices, semiconductor packaging, ecommerce systems, enterprise data management, consumer and military optics systems, wireless telecommunications handsets, telecommunications networking, and hybrid vehicle power systems.
Robert has also excelled at using his broad technical background to represent his clients in patent litigations, with clients ranging from Fortune 500 technical and retail giants to small research and development companies. Robert has developed and presented several Markman presentations for various courts, with hearings and related litigation have extended from the Eastern District of Texas through Florida, New York, New Jersey, and the Central and Northern Districts of California. He has also advised clients on patent licensing negotiations, portfolio analysis and valuation, trademark acquisition and litigation, copyright analysis and licensing. Robert has also done extensive work drafting opinions on patent, copyright and trademark issues.
Prior to law school, Robert was a software developer and project manager for almost a decade in the property and casualty insurance, professional tax and air transportation fields, with his experience including most major enterprise database and software development systems. During law school, Robert received his USPTO registration in 2005 and was an officer in both the Mock Trial and Student Government organizations.
EDUCATION
Robert received a Juris Doctorate degree from St. John's University School of Law in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2002.
MEMBERSHIPS
Robert is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the New York State Bar. He is registered to practice before the United Stated Patent and Trademark Office, the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, and the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York.
