BIOGRAPHY
Elizabeth Iglesias focuses her practice on the preparation and prosecution of patents.
Elizabeth previously worked in the areas of patent litigation and reexamination and her experience includes work in the semiconductor, medical device, wireless communications, and power generation industries. Elizabeth also has worked on a number of pro bono matters. Previously, Elizabeth was a Judicial Extern for The Honorable Ronald M. Whyte of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Elizabeth worked as an engineer for West Fraser Mills Ltd. and Newterra Ltd. Elizabeth's experience includes software development, hardware design, and project management.
EDUCATION
Elizabeth graduated with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Carleton University in 2006 where she received the Senate Medal for academic achievement. In 2009, Elizabeth graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law where she received an American Jurisprudence award in patent law and served as an Articles Editor for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal.
