Jim’s current practice focuses on patent prosecution planning and strategy, as well as patent opinion work.

He interfaces with in-house technical specialists and business executives to integrate the client’s technological and legal objectives into a coordinated strategic plan. Jim’s efforts are directed towards providing his clients with the very best product possible. He strives to make each client’s patent prosecution program as effective as possible from the outset so that unnecessary litigation is avoided.

Before entering law school, Jim was an engineer at Lockheed Electronic Corporation, North American Aviation, and for the United States Air Force.
